Flavor Flav, a member of Public Enemy, is a huge Taylor Swift fan, and he finally got his wish to meet the singer.
Flavor Flav made it plain on numerous times that one of his goals was to finally meet Taylor at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on Monday (March 27).
“Taylor Swift is my favorite, dude. Always did, as I’m sure you can understand. Wearing a shirt that read “I come back harder than a ’90s fad,” a line from Taylor Swift’s song “Willow,” Flavor Flav told one Billboard reporter on the red carpet for the occasion, “Word up.” “Check this out, hey. Taylor Swift reportedly sets her clock set to 12. similar to mine. And since the hourglass at 12 o’clock points straight up, I always leave it there. I always speak the truth to you.”
Flav reiterated his delight to meet Taylor in a second red carpet-interview.
“I have always cherished Taylor Swift’s music. I’m here to be her advocate. I’m here to help my daughter, “I added Flav. He said, “I got ‘good blood,'” making reference to the Taylor song “Bad Blood.” “Today, I don’t harbor any ill feelings. I’m telling you, I’ve got the good blood. Speak up. based on strength. At the occasion, Flav had the chance to speak with Taylor. Taylor and Flav grabbed a selfie together after they met inside the awards ceremony.
“FLAVOR FLAV::: I return stronger than a trend from the 1990s,” Flav wrote the Instagram description for the picture with him beaming broadly and Taylor Swift by his side.
Many on Twitter have commented on the news that Flavor Flav is a Swiftie.
One Twitter user wrote, “I didn’t have Flavor Flav being a swiftie, wearing a clothing inspired by a Taylor Swift song to the iHeartRadio Award, and getting a picture with her on my 2023 bingo card.”
